Since this is my first post on the LifeType blog, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Barry, and I operate an Internet Christian radio station, called OldTimeChristianRadio, or OTCR.

We've been broadcasting over the Web since 2004, and are currently heard through two different outlets. Our main format is classic Southern Gospel music, hymns, Sacred music from the past, and Bluegrass Gospel. Much of what we play is music from the 1950s-1980s.

I have had a blog for awhile now, but it is one of those with the banner and side ads, and some of the ads have gotten pretty disgusting. I did a search for Christian blogs, and found this one. I'm glad there are blogs such as this for Christians to share their thoughts and interact with each other.

Lord willing, I will use the blog to update news of the station and Christian music in general as it affects us, and perhaps share some thoughts as well. I may try and move some of my old posts here, as I plan to cancel the other blog and hopefully link from our site to here.
